Welcome to Barry O'Brien Historical Tours and Books. By booking a tour or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your booking.

1. Booking & Payments

Full payment is required at the time of booking via our secure payment gateway to secure your place on the tour or process your book order. All prices are listed in Euros (€). We accept major credit and debit cards. Your booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received and you have been issued a booking confirmation email.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Up to 48 hours before: Full refunds are granted for cancellations made up to 48 hours before the scheduled tour start time.
• Within 48 hours: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled tour, or "no-shows" on the day, are completely non-refundable.

3. Weather & Itinerary Changes

As this is Ireland, our tours operate rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day. However, the guide reserves the right to modify walking routes dynamically due to safety concerns, severe weather alerts, or sudden historical site closures. In the rare event that we must cancel a tour entirely for safety reasons, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Liability Disclaimer

Our historical walking tours involve navigating city streets, uneven pavements, and sometimes cobblestones.

• Physical Fitness: Participants are responsible for their own physical fitness and must wear appropriate, comfortable footwear for city walking.
• Limitation of Liability: The company and its guides assume no liability for personal injury, illness, property damage, loss, or delays caused by third-party transport or unforeseen circumstances during the tour.

By participating in the tour, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.

5. Governing Law

This agreement is strictly governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any legal disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Service will be handled exclusively in the Irish courts.
